Today I'll share a few (ha) of my favorite 'everyday life' pictures. Somehow the way Kristina takes pictures makes our normal activities look a lot prettier and more romantic than the way I take pictures...I dunno, must be the difference between people who know what they're doing and using a nice camera to do it and people who can barely operate their iPhone cameras. Who knows.

ReplyDeleteI love looking back at all the pictures of my boys as babies. You're going to be so thankful for these in a few years (or 12!).
Oh my goodness Erika! I love these. Some of them brought tears to my eyes and the one of Millie and your dad made me laugh so much!!! And now I want to hire someone to follow me around with a camera for a day to capture my daily life in photos :)

ReplyDeleteEeek! I LOVE them! What a different and beautiful take on newborn photographs. I think my favorite is the one of you sitting in bed with the window behind you... so beautiful! Or maybe the bath tub one... it's almost a smile!

ReplyDeleteThose are the best!! You will treasure these forever. She needs to come take pictures of us, too because these 'lifestyle' photos have always been my favorite but it takes a special photographer to be able to do them! (I showed J, he seems to approve of his future date.)

Cheater! ;-) But seriously, these pictures are absolutely amazing, and not just because you had a great photographer -- it's the people, the story, the love captured in these photos that is positively breathtaking. And that empty wall above your bed? I don't think you'll have any trouble at all filling that space now. Thanks for sharing these!!

ReplyDeleteErika - These are absolutely breathtaking! Each one made me sigh or tear up for a different reason. That teal polka dot dress is so cute - is it a shirt or a dress? Doesn't matter, it's the best. Her in the bath giving you the WTH? face. You and Matt and Millie snuggled up in bed, which I can vouch is pretty much the closest thing to heaven we get on this earth. My favorite however is the 4th one down - you, holding her, her arm holding you with so much love and trust. Adoption is so beautiful, and parenthood looks so gorgeous on you, my friend.
