Which is why when I saw this, I knew I'd have to share.
But first I had to track down the original source, lest I commit the unforgiveable blog crime of stealing someone else's amazing idea and hard work and claiming it as my own. Let's be clear here: I didn't make this. It looks like this girl did, so mad props for her for being hilarious and awesome. Too bad it doesn't look like she blogs anymore...we could probably be friends. So without further adieu, I present to you everyone's favorite new game:

Please do yourself a favor and read every single game space. It's hilarious. Anyway, I'm sure you're all rushing off to print your game boards now, so I won't keep you. Enjoy!
PS. I feel like this would be great to keep on hand and whip out to play while waiting for your next RE appointment. You know, just proposition some other random sad stranger in the waiting room? Surely they could appreciate it. Ha!
Impressed with how clever yet depressing that game is at the same time!
ReplyDeleteI could add a few spaces to is game board... Sadly!!
ReplyDelete**to THIS**
ReplyDeleteOMG!!! This is hilarious and AWESOME! Although, I don't see a way to actually win, so THAT is kind of depressing. But this would be awesome in the waiting room! Haha!
ReplyDeletePS her services are WAY cheap, I wouldn't cry nearly as much if a lap cost $1000 and an IUI cost $400.
Hilarious and sad, all at once. Just like this road. Ah, well!
ReplyDeleteBTW! Finally got around to downloading the free version of cards against humanity after wanting it for 6 months. Can't wait!
We love games too! I will have to check these out. The creator of the Infertility Game is very clever. Hopefully she won!
ReplyDeleteI've seen this before and can relate to all of them except the IVF!!! I've pulled more pregnancy sticks out of the trash can that I care to admit. I've seen 18 year old pregnant cashiers. Ovulation during visits, yes please.
ReplyDeleteUGH
Wow...sounds like the board game of my life 12 years ago! It was a backwards shuffle over and over...so depressing, but comical at times!
ReplyDeleteThis just made my day, week...maybe year! I am totally dying over here. HA! My favorites....
ReplyDelete1. Failed pregnancy test (space #2) - go back 6 spots. Ha, already out of the gate you are screwed!
2. Period is 20 seconds late. Because we all monitor this way too closely, at least if you have a period to monitor.
Ultimately, this game is unwinnable, and completely how infertility feels. I can't believe you found this game. Go you! Now, go rest up, enjoy vacation, don't think about blogging or life, relax and have fun with Mattie.
This is hilarious! I would SO buy this. Someone just left a link to your post on my most recent blog post (on infertility) and I just wanted to let you know that I'm rooting for you! I just spent the last half hour looking at some of your old posts and I love your blog. Your newest follower. :)
ReplyDeleteI really want to read the blog post where you pull this game out in the waiting room and play with some random stranger.
ReplyDeletehaha I love the image of asking some random girl in the waiting room to play with me! We would be fast friends!
ReplyDeleteOh my god this is SO AWESOME!! It's amazing how we all pretty much go through the same experiences/emotions. Thanks so much for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteHa. Man. I do relate. Sadly! I don't know how this is funny, but it is! :)
ReplyDeleteSome how you got lost on my blog roll and I was like "we're the he$$ has Erika been????" Them I realized it was MY fault. Phew. Glad I got you back. Now I need to catch up!
ReplyDeleteI was laughing out loud reading this post! Thanks so much for sharing! ~Tiffany @ keithandtiffanymesser.blogspot.com
